Introduction: Any learner of English should know the importance of collocations in speaking and writing natural and correct English. For example, he or she should be aware of the fact that some adjectives tend to be used with a particular noun and some verbs tend to occur with a particular noun. Along the same lines, this book aims to provide Iranian English learners with the opportunity to practice English collocations and the chance to boost their speaking and writing abilities through the use of collocations in sentences. The main feature of the book that makes it an excellent and efficient tool for practicing speaking and writing abilities is that it contains 2000 examples of English lexical collections (within 12 structures) with their meanings in Persian. The book also serves as a means for the learners to expand their knowledge of the collocations via their use in sentences and close passages. The book includes 12 units, each representing a type of lexical collocation. The whole units include 2000 examples of lexical collocations with their meanings in Persian. Each unit consists of three parts. In part A, some sentences are given in which the collocated parts are bolded. In this part the learner should test his or her own knowledge about the collocated words. In part B, a list of collocated words having the same structure is provided for the learner to read and practice. In part C, a multiple-choice exercise is given to the learners. The last part of the book includes some close passages with some blanks. The learner should find the missing words related to all collocated words that he or she has already practiced.
